Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has rejoiced with moslems in kogi state and Nigerians at large on the commemoration of this year Eid el Fitr sallah celebration.




In his goodwill message to mark the occasion, the former Kogi Governor expressed joy and happiness for the successful completion of Ramadan 2022 that attracted supplications and dedication to the service of Almighty God, as one of the strong pillars of Islamic religion.

Jakadan Sokoto prayed that the lessons learnt from the one consecutive month of religious restrictions that involves supplications, will be extended to human activities through display of naked transparency, patriotism, good deeds to our fellow beings.

He said this year’s Ramadan period was very significant as Nigerian is going through its selection process of political leadership at all levels, saying the country desired indepth prayers for God’s intervention towards producing good leaders at all levels.

Idris maintained that with good leadership and followership, Nigerians will be a place of pride in all areas , especially with the current situations.

He urged Nigerians to use this year’s celebration to pray for sound and rejigged economy, against the unabated insecurity as well as to grant our leaders the wisdom to do more for the country.

He appealed to Moslems to extend their celebration to fellow christians among many others, saying there is love in sharing with one another.

Idris prayed for many more years of sallah’s celebrations, while urging the people to continue to display the lessons learnt from the sacred month in their personal affairs and in relation to others.
