It is no longer a secret that Shehu Shagari College Of Education, Sokoto is in the news again following the gruesome murder of Deborah Emmanuel who is a student of the institution.
Deborah, a 200 level student of the school was reportedly lynched on Thursday morning by some Muslims students who alleged that she made a blasphemous remarks against Prophet Muhammad on social media.
The video of the unfortunate incident has been going round the social media.
In one of the the rival videos, a man who took part in the murder, boosted that he was the one that light the Matchbox that resulted to her death.
The suspect was heard saying “I killed her, I burnt her. You Can See The Matchbox I Used In Setting Her Ablaze”
Meanwhile, the Sultanate Council, Sokoto have issued a statement condemning the action of the youth.
