A viral video shared by Sahara Reporters captured the moment a soldier was lamenting the death of his colleagues who were killed recently by gunmen. Recall that about 6 soldiers were ambushed and killed by gunmen believed to be bandits a few days ago in Taraba state.
According to the video clip which was in pidgin English, the unidentified soldier paid tribute to his departed colleagues and lamented that their superiors are treating the issue with kid gloves. He said that he has been waiting for a call to go and retaliate against the murder of his colleagues but has not received any. The soldier added that if their seniors don’t retaliate against the death of the slain soldiers, he will quit the job because there ain’t no use holding a gun he can’t use. He added that everyone is now carrying the type of guns they are using.
