The rate at which people take laws into their hands within the country is becoming alarming and the Nigerian government should put an end to it.




People should recall that few days ago, some group of individuals killed and burnt a lady whose name is Deborah Samuel in Shehu Shagari college of Education in Sokoto State over an alleged blasphemy against their religion. This ugly incident caused series of reactions from many people within the country.

Recently, a report released by “Sahara Reporters” revealed how a commercial motorcyclist in Lagos State allegedly burnt a sound Engineer to death due to a disagreement over a N100 balance.

However, the deceased simply identified as David was lynched and burnt to death, allegedly by a group of men over a misunderstanding that ensued because of N100 balance with a commercial motorcyclist popularly called Okada rider.

David was actually on his way home from a club when the incident occurred at Lekki Phase 1 (Lagos).

According to reports, it was learnt that things got heated up and resulted in a fight between David and one of the commercial motorcyclists. 

Nevertheless, the situation soon degenerated as more motorcyclists allegedly pounced on David and his friends, beating them till they became unconscious.
