Shame On You All For Judging Me, It’s Not Your Business If I Marry 100 Wives – Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie

Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie has broken his silence over the distasteful remarks he has been receiving following his second marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin. According to him, silence is golden but it is not always the best answer.

Yul Edochie has been in the news lately following his second marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin, who also has a child for him. Yul Edochie’s first wife who seemed infuriated after her husband announced second marriage, took to the comment section and said: “May God judge you both”.

He had recently shared a loved-up video of himself and his first wife, May dancing together in their car. However, May came out and said the video was an old video. She maintained her stance that her family do not support polygamy.

In a new video on instagram, Yul Edochie has said he owes nobody but, his wife, an explanation for marrying a second wife. He said it is life; thus, it’s nobody’s business.

“I have the right to wake up in the morning and marry 25 women. If I like, I make it up to 50. It is not your business. It is not the business of everyone around to be saying things. It is my life…”

He urged people to stop poking nose into his personal life but rather channel the energy in the pressing political/societal issues in the country that need attention.

“I see people forming different support groups for the same party and these are the same people that come online to say things about me, to judge me; shame on all of you. I repeat myself, shame on all of you. You have no right; it is my life. I have the right to wake up in the morning and marry 100 women in one day.”

He added that the only person he owes an explanation is his first wife, May and the manner in which the explanation is done is not anybody’s business.

He said there are several cases of married clergy men, pastors, priests having children with different women but do not have the boldness to own up to their action. He wonders why people are now attacking him for owning up to his action.
