Nigerian singer, television presenter, publisher and producer, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa popularly known as Charly boy has taken to his official Twitter handle @AreaFada1 to react to the viral report of the National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), former Lagos State governor and presidential hopeful, Bola Ahmed Tinubu claiming that he made General Muhammadu Buhari(GMB) become president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2015.
The statement made by Bola Ahmed Tinubu sparked mixed reactions both online and offline. The former governor who is also on the quest to become the successor of President Muhammadu Buhari when he leaves Aso Rock Villa, Nigeria’s citadel of power disclosed that he no longer wants to be a godfather in politics, he wants to become the president because it’s time for him to rule.
However, Charles Oputa believes that most of these politicians are only seeking election for their interest, not in the interest of the masses whose votes they seek.
He wrote;
