Antonio Rudiger’s brother and agent, Sahr Senesie, took to social media to publish a picture where he is posing alongside the 29-year-old centre-back holding a Real Madrid shirt.
Los Blancos acquired the services of the Germany international on a free transfer, as his contract with Chelsea is set to expire by the end of June.
In the picture posted on Instagram stories, Rudiger can be seen alongside Senesie and Real Madrid’s head of international football Juni Calafat.
It was Calafat along with the club’s general director Jose Angel Sanchez who managed to lure Rudiger to the Spanish capital ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Rudiger is Real Madrid’s first signing for the next campaign. He is right-footed, but Thomas Tuchel used him as a left centre-back in a back-three formation.
The German defender is imposing in aerial duels, also being a threat from dead balls and his building from the back has significantly improved following Tuchel’s arrival at the Blues.
