Reporting reaching us has confirmed that one of the factional candidates of Labour Party, Jude Ezenwafor, has withdrawn from the presidential race. This may not be unconnected with the information that INEC has on its website, showing the authentic leadership of the party was the one that produced Peter Obi as the presidential candidate.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on its website recognised the Labour Party’s leadership structure that elected former Anambra governor, Peter Obi as its presidential candidate.
The party is factionalised with a faction producing Obi as its presidential candidate and another one producing Jude Ezenwafor as its candidate ahead of the 2023 general elections.
