Channels Television had an interactive section with Okey Ikechukwu who stated that there’s no way anyone can rig the 2023 election. He stated that INEC has made it difficult for anyone to rig the upcoming election. He advised those who are planning to rig the election not to try it because it won’t work.
He said that trying to rig an election in 2023 is just like trying to rob an army barrack which is a very risky thing to do. It’s very impossible to rob the military barrack, so that’s the same case with anyone who’s trying to rig the election.
He said that the method INEC is using now requires you to put in your fingerprints, your face ID, and other personal data. And if your data doesn’t match with that on your PVC, you won’t vote. So this will make everyone’s vote count, it is no more done like the previous ways of voting.
