Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka in that audio message made some revelations.
- He stated that in 2019, he personally called Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP 2019 flag bearer who was in Dubai and after introducing himself to him, asked him to drop Mr Peter Obi as his vice presidential candidate. He went further to state that Atiku lost because he ran with Obi against his advice to drop him and pick another running mate.
This time around he said whoever that’s investing in Obi’s presidential project is wasting his money.
- He also used the speech to open up on what Obi did to him. MBAKA told his audience in that viral audio speech that when Obi was sacked as governor of Anambra state, that he helped in ensuring that his sack was reversed. He stated that in the presence of Chief Ibeto, Chief Chris Ubah and Bishop Aniekwe, he collected the documents Obi presented at the court as evidence, placed them on his bible and prayed. He said he played a role restoring Obi to his seat.
His anger is that Obi after the court restored him governor refused and failed to come back and show appreciation.
I wish Obi can speak on this allegation from Fr Mbaka.
