A video of Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi Tinubu, speaking to a helpless crippled man recently surfaced on Twitter and it has gotten several reactions as many Nigerians were not pleased with how the Former Governor’s wife addressed the crippled man. Most believed it was not necessary if she actually wanted to assist him.
In the video, Oluremi Tinubu can be seen walking towards the crippled man who was sitting at one corner of the street, followed by her bodyguards. She sat down beside him and started asking him some questions.
One of the questions she asked the crippled man was if he voted for Buhari during the last election and the man responded affirmatively. However, she told him she cannot trust him because he is Igbo. She also mentioned that her sister had a child for an Igbo man.
Nigerians did not take this video lightly as most believed the former first lady was wrong to have asked the helpless crippled man such questions. According to them, if she wanted to help the man then she should have done so without being tribalistic. A few others threw in their support for her and stated that it was a jovial and harmless conversation between the two.
