The people of Amansea Community in North Local Government Area has unanimously pledged their total support to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s administration in the State as he marks his one hundred days in office.
The President- General of the Community, Sir Christian Ughanze,who made this known during press interview in his country home Amansea, said that the Governor Soludo’s development plans for the State were all encompassing with particular emphasis on security and massive road construction in the State.
The President-General,who described Governor Soludo’s plan to construct two hundred and twenty kilometres of roads in the State when the rains subside as a welcome development, said that road is one of the critical infrastructures that enhances the all round development of any State .
He described Governor Soludo as a true leader send by God to save the State from the shackles of poverty and draw the attention of the Governor to the decapitated conditions of the Amansea -Ebenebe road,Amansea- Ifite- Awka road,Egbeagwu- Eziogboo road and Eziogboo Primary School road that are yawning for construction all year round.
Sir Ughanze, who described lack of functional roads infrastructure as some of the major problems of the Amansea community and indeed the entire Communities in the Awka North Local Government Area,explained that the people of the area were mostly farners that could feed the State optimally if only their agricultural potentials could be harnessed maximally to the benefits of the State.
The President- General, who further stated that the farmers in the area are finding it difficult to transport their agricultural produce to the urban areas to sell because of abysmal lack of accessible roads network ,wondered why the successive Governments in the State should neglect the welfares of the Community which he said is one of the Communities in the capital territories of the State.
He expressed the confidence that the Governor Soludo’s administration would fulfill his promise on construction of Omor-Umubo- Umerum- Obaofemili-Ebenebe- Amansea road to save people in the area from untold hardship enhance the inter and intra communications of the people in the area .
While commending Governor Soludo for his successful hundred days in office,Sir Ughanze,also thanked the Governor for the on going palliative work on the old and new Amansea axis of the Onitsha-Enugu Federal highway which according to him would ease off the unabated gridlock on the road witnessed by the commuters plying the road.
