What Gov. Soludo Told Corps Members On There Passing Out Ceremony

The Governor of Anambra State Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has commended the 2021 National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC) batch B stream one corps members deployed to Anambra State for there commitment at there place of primary assignments.

Governor Soludo on his speech at the passing out ceremony held at Dr. Alex Ekwueme square in Awka on Thursday 7th July 2022 said ‘You have surmounted your initial challenges and have engraved your foots at the sands of Anambra State. You have in no small way partnered with the state in the development of the state essentially in government and private schools including provision of educational materials.

Governor Soludo who was represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Patrick Agha-Mba while bidding farewell to the outgoing corps members said ‘We are awear that you where exposed to skills while you where at the orientation camp at Umuawulu/Mbakwu and you followed up the training with some level of perfect.

‘I have no doubt that the unusual unemployment fever that grips youths will not affect you. Anambra State is entrepreneural in nature. So don’t be in a hurry to leave the state, key into that spirit. Many of your predecessors have settled in Anambra state and they are reaping the fruit.

“The government and the good people of Anambra State are poised to support NYSC in every way possible to achieve the National development intergretion of Nigeria. However, we are aware of the challenges facing the scheme at the orientation camp especially the revenging influence of erosion and I am in contact with professionals that will handle the landscaping.

The Governor concluded by appreciating stockholders for there contributions in various ways of the service year.

A minute silence was held in honor of one the (Falling hero) corps member who lost her life during the service year.
