As you all are aware the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari came into power in 2015 after defeating the incumbent leader, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and was further reelected In 2019. The commander-in-chief was privileged to have served the country as its ruler for eight (8) and as such his tenure is coming to a close.
However, there is no doubt that he is glad to have successfully served and finished his time in office and would be delighted to hand over to a competent hand that will carry on from where he stopped.
In the light of the following happenings, a staunch member of Peter Obi’s online campaign team Jack Obinyan took to his official Facebook page to react after President Buhari said that the office of the presidency is tough and he can not wait for his tenure to be over.
In his Facebook post, he uploaded a publication by Punch newspaper with a photo of the President as it indicates that he affirmed that being a President is not an easy task. Mr. Jack Obinyan who use to be a strong supporter of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and now Peter Obi, however, made it known that a few weeks ago he had shared a post advising Muhammadu Buhari to handover to governance to his Deputy.
In conclusion, he said that Nigerians seem to be going through a lot, and on that grounds, he is pleading with the President to inform the National Assembly and power Vice President Yemi Osinbajo can take charge till the end.
