Reno Omokri, a political activist has reacted after Sanwoolu called for all Yoruba to vote for Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu for president in the 2023 general election.
He said
But that Sanwoolu’s statement is deeply troubling. Making Tinubu’s presidential ambition a Yoruba project is highly divisive. Even if every Yoruba voter votes for Tinubu, by their strength alone; they can’t make him President.
Nigerian politicians should canvass for vote fro their candidate based on the capacity of the their aspirants instead of because of their tribe or religion.
Nigerians that are ready to make good things happen in the country in the economical sector and other areas of development should ensure they don’t vote according to ethnic or religious sentiment.
