The running mate of the PDP governorship candidate for the forthcoming Lagos State governorship election, Funke Akindele is highly optimistic that the party will defeat the APC and the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu come 2023.
The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party deputy governorship aspirant made this known when she appeared as a guest on Channels TV.
She said just like Babajide Sanwo-Olu have the numbers, she also have the numbers. According to her, she has about 20 million fans on social media who will come out in their numbers to vote for her.
She said this even though the 20 million fans she claim to have on social media are not all resident in Lagos state.
Funke Akindele said she has a lot of fans in the grassroot. According to her, there are a lot of people in the grassroots.
“He has the numbers, I have fans and followers. I have 19 to 20 million fans on social media”
“There are so many people in the grassroots. Outside of Ikorodu, I have a lot of fans at the grassroot level. They are everywhere”
