The Osun State 2022 Governorship Election is ongoing, the Election is 4 years periodic in Nature.
The previous Gubernatorial Election in Osun State took place in the year 2018 which led to the emergence of his Excellency, Governor Gboyega Oyetola as the Winner of the Election in 2018 as declared by the electoral governing body, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Right now, the People of Osun State are deciding who will pilot the affairs of the State for the Next four years.
The incumbent Governor, Gboyega Oyetola is also seeking for reelection from the great people of Osun State under the platform of the same party he contested with in 2018, which is the All Progressives Congress, APC, while one of his major contender Adeleke Ademola of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP is in the contest with him.
It will be noted that over twenty thousand Security officials are deployed to the State to ensure safety and maintain free, fair and credible Election in the State.
