….the Ebonyi PDP Governorship candidate remains Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, as shown on INEC platform
As the rumbles in the Ebonyi State PDP Governorship candidate heightens, a court today ordered for the retrial of the case, which previously has granted the reliefs that Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, Anyichuks is the validly nominated candidate of the party in Ebonyi State.
In a judgement today, the court, after hearing arguments from the lawyers to the parties in the case ordered for a retrial.
It should be noted that the June 4th and 5th primaries that was purportedly conducted by some people, never had the authentic delegates which those angling for Sen Ogba claimed; because the so called Delegates left town and never showed up for any primary after learning that they are being taken for a ride, and to also perpetrate illegality, after they learnt that the authentic delegates primary had held on 28th and 29th of May.
The PDP Governorship primary election in Ebonyi State was legally held on 28th & 29th of May, and a candidate in the person of Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, Anyichuks emerged and those PDP Primary members successfully carried out the primary election and announced a winner, who they also handed over the flag of the party.
No doubt, there are those who are working with the the Governor of Ebonyi State and APC leaders to scuttle the bright chances of PDP to reclaim Ebonyi State for the party, after the betrayal of Gov Dave Umahi.
As we all wait for the eventual outcome of the court process the whole of Ebonyi are waiting for the dream of Ndi Ebonyi to be actualized.
