Popular social media influencer Daddy Freeze has reacted after Habeeb Okikiola (a.k.a. Portable) made a U-turn on his recent ‘One Million Boys’ statement.
Recall that the popular street singer had on Monday made a video clip on his social media handle, saying that he was the founder of the Ajah One Million Boys gang, a notorious cult group that terrified some major parts of Lagos, including Ikorodu and Ajah back in 2020.
Although Portable later deleted the post and cleared the air on the statement, after much criticism from the public and the Nigerian I. G. of Police’s order to investigate the matter, many people still see the singer as one who has in most cases, been failing to control his utterances.
Reacting to the incident after Portable retracted his statement, Daddy Freeze said, “Portable doesn’t know the magnitude of his influence.”
According to him, if Portable had been able to realize the level of his influence on the society as a musician, he wouldn’t have just gone about online, thinking he could say anything no matter how retarded and demeriting they are, and afterwards come out to say that he was cracking jokes or meant something else.
In a further statement, the social media influencer also advised parents to make their children understand the demerits of gangsterism.
While suggesting a serious counselling section for Portable, Daddy Freeze also requested that the popular Zazu Zeh Master should apologize to the public properly over his controversial statement.
