Despite being in different political parties, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP) has commended the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo, for allowing himself to be operated in Nigeria instead of traveling abroad.
He said that leaders must restore confidence in the country’s healthcare system by patronizing and investing robustly in it. He further said that he wished Professor Yemi Osinbanjo a quick and full recovery. He said, “His choice of following through on the medical rehabilitation process in Nigeria is commendable.” Recall that Professor Yemi Osinbanjo posted on his official Facebook post that he would be undergoing a surgical operation on his leg and many Nigerians, including politicians, sympathized with him and commended him for using Duchess International Hospital in Lagos. Osibajo appreciated Nigerians and the team of surgeons who worked on his leg after he was discharged some days ago.
