The candidate for Anambra North Senatorial district Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obaino (Osodieme Global) football tournament kicked off in style at the Holy Trinity Basilica Onitsha, for the Catholic Men Organization
(C.M.O) Onitsha Archdiocese.
Performing the kickoff ceremony, Chief Chinedu Nnatuanya who doubles as the Director General (DG) of Osodieme 2023 Campaign Organization, emphasized on the need for our people to keep fit, through football and other sporting activities.
He said he was here to represent Osodieme, who is very much eager and enthusiastic to see the fathers of our homes in Anambra North Senatorial be fit and kicking in ensuring they play and perform their fatherly roles in our families in Anambra North Senatorial District.
He further said that, Osodieme’s Senatorial project in Anambra North in 2023 is just for the people and only for the people which will transcend in to bonding brotherliness, love, fair play and unity for all citizens of Anambra North and indeed, Anambra State.
In that vein, Hon Nnatuanya urged the footballers to exhibit a true spirit of sportsmanship which imbibe magnanimity in victory as they compete for the exclusive trophy.
Chief Nnatuanya was accompanied to the C.M.O football tournament kickoff, powered by the Osodieme Global 2023 Team, by Hon Miracle Izunegbu, Sir Peter Madueke, Hon Mrs Ego Mmirimma, Hon Mrs Chioma Eze, Hon Chinedu Okoro, Yours Sincerely, and several top notch from all the local governments of the Anambra North, for the Osodieme Senate Project, Anambra North 2023.
The opening match played was between the CKP zone, Odoakpu and the Sacred Heart zone, Odoakpu. The match ended 1-0 in favour of CKP zone, Odoakpu.
