The Northern Elders spokesman, Hakeem Baba Ahmed on Tuesday evening released a statement via his twitter handle, where he spoke about the insecurity condition of the country, noting that he is terrified by the state of Nigeria.
Hakeem Baba Ahmed however revealed that he is more terrified by what Nigeria will be by May 2023. Hakeem Baba continued by saying that if there are people President Muhammadu Buhari listens to, they should ask him to consider resigning.
Quoting Hakeem Baba Ahmed, he said, “This is my personal opinion. I am terrified by the state of Nigeria. I am more terrified by what it will be by May 2023. If there are people he listens to, they should ask him to consider resigning. Any lawful option is better than his continuing”.
