Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will be handing Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly their debuts, as Timo Werner will miss in action when the Blues take on Everton.
Chelsea will be going on away trip on their 2022/23 Premier League campaign to Goodison Park as they look forward to lock horns with Frank Lampard’s Everton side on Saturday Evening.
Timo Werner has sustained a thigh injury which would keep him away for few days, alongside Armando Broja, a youngster who picked up ankle injury during pre-season.
The new signing Marc Cucurella and Carney Chukwuemeka would be involved, as the duo have not been training with the rest of the team.
Captain Azpilicueta, having extended his contract with the Blues, will feature alongside Thiago Silva and Kalidou Koulibaly, as Tuchel would be sticking to the three Veterans.
The predicted line-up would be Mendy at the goal post, Thiago Silva, and Koulibaly at the back while Reece James and Marc Cucurella will slot on the wing-backs.
Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and youngster Conor Gallagher will start in the midfield while Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount, and Kai Havertz will feature in the front row.
