…Insecticide treated nets distribution commences…

The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North LGA, Chief Chuks Brown Igboanua Ezeoba (Ogene Uke) had called for collaborative effort to tackle the Malaria Scourge.
The newly appointed TC Chairman made the call during the flag off and sensitization of Insecticide Treated Nets distribution held at Obosi.
While assuring that modalities are in place for the distribution of treated mosquito nets across every household in the council area from today till August 17th 2022, noting that sleeping inside the insecticide treated nets prevents one from having malaria.
The Health Team from Ministry of Health and it’s partners gave an Award to Lolo Igwe Obosi as a Net Advocate.
The award was presented by First Lady of Idemili North LGA, Chief Mrs Chinelo Chuks Igbonua,who equally extolled the monarch’s wife for her work in sensitizing the women folk.
Highpoint was the symbolic display by Lolo Iweka, as she laid on the bed to buttress to aged ones, women and men that it’s very important to sleep inside the insecticide treated nets.
Also the household workers at the Igwe Obosi palace got the insecticide treated nets for their use.
The occasion was witnessed by Traditional Ruler of Obosi, Igwe Chukwudubem Iweka and his wife, Ndi Ichie, Councillors of Idemili North LGA, Afordike Market Women.
Other side attraction Include Musical display by Ajukwu Obosi and other musical group.
