The Flag Bearer of the leading All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) for Idemili North and South Federal Constituency in the 2023 General Elections, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu (Onyechimelueze) has reassured ‘umu Idemili’ that his quest to represent the good people of Idemili North and South at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly will bring greater development to the constituency when given the mandate.

He stated this while addressing the women of Ojoto community during their 2022 Annual August Meeting.

In his speech, Chief Iyiegbu emphasized that part of the reason for insecurity in the land is as a result of youth restiveness and promised to partner with the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo on youth and women empowerment to further develope Idemili North and South and Anambra State at large.

While pointing out the importance of women in the society, Chief Iyiegbu encouraged them to be steadfast and committed to Anambra by supporting Governor Soludo, expressing hope that Anambra will feel the impact of Soludo led administration soon enough.

He assured them of his commitment never to let the people of Idemili North and South down when elected as his mission in politics is to give democracy it’s true meaning and to give leadership a human face.

On her part, the Ike Cubana Campaign DG and the Transition Committee Chairman, Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi, while having a woman to woman interaction with them, charged them to take back the society through electing the right leaders.

Emphasizing that women cast greater percentage of votes during election, Hon. Mrs Obi harped on the need cast their votes right and also galvanize support for development by queuing behind progressive minds.

The women who sang songs in solidarity with Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu expressed readiness to deliver Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu come 2023.

Chief Iyiegbu was joined by some stakeholders in Idemili South including, Sir Nwabufo Nwankwo, Hon Uche Mmaduekwe, among others
