Electricity Workers Suspend Strike

Electricity workers have suspended their strike for the next two weeks.

This comes after a meeting with minister of labour and employment, Chris Ngige, on Wednesday.

Chike Ben, the president general, Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Workers, briefing journalists after the meeting, thanked the minister of labour and the minister of state for power for “their maturity in handling the issues that we brought up.”
