The new welterweight champion, Leon Edwards, beat the Nigerian Nightmare, Kamaru Usman, at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, USA on Sunday.
Taking the microphone after his victory, Edwards said, “I told you, it’s possible, we could win a bout from the UK, I told you. Look at me now. I told you I could do it.”
