Arthur Eze vs Andy Uba: 50 Million Naria Loan And Not Loan Full Gist

Yesterday, Arthur Eze used the court to impound cars belonging to Senator Andy Uba over a loan of 50 million naira.

Senator Andy Uba is owing Prince Engr Arthur Eze 50million naira and refused to pay. Eze nu Ukpo went to court and obtained a judgement.

Uba took a loan of N50 million from Oranto Petroleum Limited. Arthur Eze on March 6, 2017, in a case presided over by Justice Mbonu Nwenyi of the Aguata Judicial Division Ekwulobia got a judgement against Uba.

The judgement was executed yesterday as officials of the Execution Unit of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja, working with officers of the Nigeria Police Force went to Uba:s residence at No. 49 T.Y Danjuma Street, Asokoro, Abuja and seized his vehicles.

However, Andy Uba claimed that the 50 million naira was a donation Arthur Eze made to his campaign and not a loan.

But the court said evidence before them shows that it was a loan and not a donation.

Further enquiry reveals that the case of 50 million naira debt between Prince Engr Arthur Eze and Senator Andy Uba was a case of ego massaging between the two billionaires.

AIF Media gathered that Senator Andy Uba’s claim was that Arthur Eze came to an Anglican Church at Uga in 2015 and donated money to support his Senatorial ambition like others, hence it wasn’t a loan.

Andy Uba claimed that after the donation by Arthur Eze, worshipers in the church praised and clapped for him for the donation, hence it wasn’t a loan, but a freewill donation to support his campaign.

On his part the Ukpo Prince claimed that it was a loan because the cheque he used in fulfilling the financial obligation was a company’s cheque and from his name personal account.

That if he wanted to do a freewill donation, he would have used his personal account. But it was further alleged that the Ukpo billionaire wanted a political favour from Andy which he did get and turned around to request for the refund of the 50 million naira.

When they couldn’t resolve the issue, Arthur Eze went to court and got judgement in 2017. After the judgment, Andy went on appeal and that delayed the execution of the judgment.
