Amaechi Nwachukwu Salutes Bishop Paul Nwachukwu At 75

The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate for Oyi/Ayamelum federal constituency and Medical Director, Princeton Specialist Hospital and Orthopaedic Center, Awka, Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu has felicitated with his uncle and Presiding Bishop, Grace Of God Mission International, Bishop Dr. Paul Nwachukwu on his 75th birthday.




In a statement personally released by the medical practitioner, he described Bishop Paul Nwachukwu as an extraordinary ambassador of the gospel of Christ, God’s general who deepened the wave of Pentecostalism in Igbo land. He further acknowledged that the history of Pentecostalism in the South-Eastern Nigeria cannot be complete without a copious mention of the role played by Bishop Nwachukwu, whose Church, the Grace of God Mission was one the pioneer Pentecostal Churches in the Region.

Continuing, the renowned surgeon commended his septuagenarian uncle’s steadfastness and courage despite the pockets of opposition during the period he led Christians to obey biblical mandate in taken the gospel to the hinterland and bringing to them the message of salvation. The ZLP candidate emphasized that God used his uncle to start the spiritual revolution in the Nwachukwu family, which his father that has passed unto glory, the General Overseer, Rhema Deliverance Mission Worldwide, Bishop Arthur Nwachukwu, followed and took to another level of operation.

He praised Bishop Nwachukwu for being one of the champions of the Igbo spiritual liberation and rebirth. He thanked him for being a great mentor and an inspiration to the Nwachukwu family of Umunya, entire Christian family in Igbo land, raising a generation of preachers and clergymen who have dedicated themselves to the cause of the gospel and turning men into vessels of honour.

Dr. Nwachukwu extolled the immeasurable contributions of the foremost cleric as a member, Advisory Council of Anambra State, saying that the relative peace and harmony being recorded in the state were as a result of the prayers of men and women of God in the mould of Bishop Paul Nwachukwu.

The medic appreciated the philanthropic spirit and milestone of the Christian leader, affirming that through his Kingdom Life Evangelism Outreach, he has influenced many lives, lifted many out of poverty and brought succour to innumerable people, while providing opportunities for many to get education through scholarships and vocational trainings.

Dr. Nwachukwu said; “We thank God for the insights you bring to bear on the word of God; your incisive sermons have raised godly men and caused a revival in the Christian community, and the society has been better for it. Your philanthropic gestures to the downtrodden and the needy have been of great relief to the beneficiaries.

“It was Prophet Isaiah who said that those who wait on the Lord shall have their strength renewed. As you attain the age of 75, may God continue to increase your strength, knowledge and wisdom as you labour in his vineyard, and when your watch on this plane is ended, may he crown your efforts with the crown of glory and grant you a well deserved rest. Have a great birthday, great uncle”, Dr. Nwachukwu concluded.
