…drivers conveying students call for settlement
Information reaching out desk has it that Nigerian students mobilized for the #EndASUUstrikeNOW protest in Abuja today have called the protest off.
A member of the Association of Nigerian Universities Students; Abdulsallam Buba said they were suppose to hit the roads since 9am today but were told by their leaders to hold on till at about 2pm when their leaders came back from a meeting and announced that the protest will nolonger hold.
As at the time of filling this report, Drivers that brought the students from various states are in a subtle exchange of words with some of the students over non completion of their transport fares.
An insider who wouldn’t want her name mentioned alleged that since last night, their leaders have been acting funny. Answering calls from unidentified authorities who may have been instrumental to the cancellation of the demonstration.
The Students Union Governments of University of Abuja and Federal College of Education Zuba have pulled out of the demonstration
