The Presidential Candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, mocked the candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, for the crisis that is going on in the PDP, as he claimed that he brought it upon himself with the belief that only northerners can win the presidential seat for the party.
According to the Vanguard newspaper, Bola Tinubu, speaking through his Director, Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, claims that Atiku, who should be a unifier, is now the PDP’s divider.
Atiku believes in the fallacy that only northerners can hijack the presidential candidate for the PDP, and this is the genesis of the problem with the party because he broke the gentleman agreement between the south and the north.
Obasanjo and Ebele Jonathan has proven very well that southerners can win for PDP, but Atiku goes on to break the agreements. He accused Atiku of bringing what is happening now in the PDP to the party.
