It is no longer news that Peter Obi has been adjudged to be part of the old political system that have been in charge of the affairs of the nation over the last couple of years.
Since he emerged as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, one of the questions people have asked regarding him is how different is he from the politicians in the Peoples Democratic Party being a former member of the party.
Addressing this issue in an interview with Channels Television, a top Chieftain of the Labour Party, Kenneth Okwonkwo said when Peter Obi was in the Peoples Democratic Party, he never occupied any executive position.
Hear him, “When he was in PDP, did he by any means occupy any executive position for which he took any decision? None. He was the governor of Anambra state, he entrenched APGA so much in Anambra state that even him himself could no longer uproot APGA. Anambra State became sentimentally attached to APGA because of the foundation of governance that Peter Obi built”
