Former People Democratic Party National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh has stated that the presidential candidate of the Labour party, Mr Peter Obi Joined The Labour party very late.
It would be recalled that the former Anambra state governor resigned from the People Democratic Party and joined the Labour party where he has been given the presidential ticket for the 2023 presidential election.
Olisa Metuh who was speaking in respect of his previous Facebook post slamed his critics for not understanding the time Obi Joined Labour Party.
According to him, the people criticising him fail to understand that it was already too late for Peter Obi when he joined the Labour party for him to enjoy the spread of National assembly members if he eventually wins.
“Most importantly, they seem not to understand that Peter Obi joined Labour Party too late in the day to have a major spread/majority in the national assembly if and/or when he wins. I cannot therefore understand the condemnation and mob Lynching” Olisa Metuh said.
