Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had said in August that the trains will be brought in from China in October and it will be test-run in late December.
However, it appears the project is ahead of schedule as the test-run began today, October 14.
Sanwo-Olu said he will ensure the trains begin commercial operation in the first quarter of 2023.
