Peter Obi Fingered In Wike’s One Billion Naira PDP Presidential Ticket Scandal
Was Wike Referring To Peter Obi In PDP’s 1 Billion Loan Scandal?

Let me begin by recounting the origins of the Off The Mic phenomenon.
In May 2020, the House of Representatives launched an investigation into the NNDC’s cesspool of corruption after it was discovered that the agency’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) had allegedly squandered N40 billion in just three months.

In one of the panel sittings, the accused warned the members to tread softly in the complicated questions they were asking him, or else he would speak up on everything that had transpired; he was initially disregarded, so he decided to open his mouth a little bit , when House Member Thomas Ereyitomi suddenly said  ‘It is okay, Honourable, off your Mic’.

They have ignored Wike and called his bluff, and now Wike is firing on all cylinders, rocking the table violently.

In response to allegations by Wike that Ayu received a one billion naira bribe, the PDP National Chairman stated that nothing of the such occurred and that it was Atiku who encouraged the party to accept a loan, which the NWC later refused.

According to the word on the street, the one billion naira bribe Wike accused Ayu of receiving came from the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, who claims he doesn’t give shishi.

In advanced countries, this type of scandal is referred to as organized crime, in which a group of individuals secretly manipulate public opinion for selfish and parochial reasons solely to enrich a few at the expense of the wider public.

Peter Obi allegedly providing one billion naira to the PDP under whatever pretense is an obvious attempt to rig the PDP national primaries process. Why should a presidential contender for a political party facilitate a loan for the party if not to indirectly purchase the party’s ticket?

The conflict between Wike and the PDP NWC is revealing a lot of secrets, and all we can say for now is that IT IS SHOW TIME.
