Intending donors of relief materials to flood victims in Delta State communities have urged the Federal and State governments to tackle the flood-induced blockade on the East-West road by Evwreni as it has been hindering the access to camps for Internally Displaced Persons.
Many people displaced by the flood in the locality are currently stranded and PUNCH Metro gathered that the Evwreni axis of the East-West road is currently difficult for vehicular accessibility as commuters have resorted to canoes to cross over to Patani before embarking on their journey to Bayelsa State.
