A waste-carrying truck has fallen into the lagoon in Lagos in the Iyana-Oworoshonki area of the state.
According to reports, one of the truck’s tires burst while plying the Third Mainland Bridge, causing it to derail.
The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, in a statement on Tuesday, said the two occupants of the truck have been rescued.
