The persistent absence of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, at the public events organized for the Presidential candidates in the upcoming 2023 general election continues as he was reportedly represented by his vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima at a program, which was organized by Voice of Woman Empowerment Foundation in partnership with MacArthur Foundation, which is underway at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja.

This absence has generated mixed reactions from Nigerians who developed different opinions concerning his persistent absence.
