A woman in Nigeria has been vocal about wanting justice after police officers allegedly stripped her naked at a pool party in Lagos yesterday. She claimed that she had no idea that requesting individuals to undress was part of a police officer’s work until yesterday, when it happened to her and some of her friends, as reported by Instablog9ja.
She claimed they were on their way to a pool party when police officers pulled them over and searched their belongings. The cops requested that they undress to the point of exposing only their underwear. They didn’t argue or grimace at the officers; instead, they followed orders.
The woman complained that the police officers didn’t even have a female cop present when they were ordered to undress. She requested that the situation be looked into by Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command. The woman further stated that the occurrence occurred last night under Marina Bridge.
