
Following last week’s Gbeji attack that claimed the lives of over 30 persons in Ukum local council of Benue State, the 3 main socio cultural groups in the state are calling on the Federal Government to establish military posts in Gbeji and 2 other hot spots in the State.
President General Mzough U tiv Iorbee Ihagh made the call on behalf of the other groups in Makurdi the state capital.

Last week’s attack on the Agrarian Community of Gbeji in Ukum local government of the State seemed to be the last straw that broke the camel’s back for these 3 main socio cultural organisations.
With the continuous rise in the humanitarian situation in the State due to unprovoked attacks they are deeply worried about the fate of its agrarian populace in the Nigerian equation.
They are calling on the Federal government to live up to its obligations of protecting lives and property.
