It Was The Money Peter Obi Left For Obiano That He Used To Airport - Gov Darius Ishaku

It’s no longer a news that the internet has been agog after the Governor of Anambra state, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, said the alleged investment of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, in the state government is worth next to nothing. Soludo stated this on Thursday during an interview with Channels TV’s Politics Today which was monitored by Akelicious.

However, the Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku, has shed more light about the achievements of Peter Obi in Anambra State.

According to Ishaku, noted that he was so pleased to see the Akwa International Airport, and during that time, it was the tenure of Obiano. As he couldn’t hide the happiness within him, he asked the former governor where he got such a huge money to build the airport. In response, Ishaku said the Former Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano told him that it was the money that his former colleague (Peter Obi) left for him that he used to build Akwa International Airport in Anambra State.

Speaking during the interview, the governor of Taraba said “I don’t know Anambra very well and so when I met the governor who just finished his tenure, I asked my dear brother I have been longing to talk to you. You did something remarkably well in your state and he asked what is that, I told him the international airport you build in Akwa.”
