Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has said that the remarks of governor Charles Soludo of Anambra will have an impact on the presidential ambition of the candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
In a tweet on Thursday night, Omokri, who had previously projected that Peter Obi would finish in a far third place behind Atiku and Tinubu, revealed that the Labour Party candidate would now finish in a distant fourth place behind Rabiu Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
“After watching what Governor Soludo, said about Peter Obi today on Channels TV, I am no longer sure he can come a distant third in the Presidential elections. Obi may actually come a distant fourth, behind Kwankwaso. Soludo go chop insults from Obidients today!” he wrote.
Souldo caused debate when he said on Wednesday that Peter Obi’s much-discussed investments in the state of Anambra were now worth virtually nothing.
Obi, one of the fafavouriteso become the nation’s president the next year, has continued to receive backing among the younger Nigerian populace.
