Senator Michael Bamidele Reveals How Tinubu Saved His Life After He Was Shot In Ekiti

The senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, has revealed the role Bola Tinubu played in saving his life after he was shot in Ekiti. It would be recalled that in June 2018 Bamidele was reportedly hit by stray bullets during a political rally in Ado-Ekiti. After his condition was stabilized in a teaching hospital in Ekiti, he was transferred to a hospital in Lagos, and thereafter he was moved to the UK for more treatment.

In an exclusive interview with Viable TV, Bamidele disclosed that after he was shot his former boss, Bola Tinubu assisted in getting him to a hospital in Lagos and subsequently flew him in his private jet to London where he got proper treatment. He further revealed that Tinubu paid £100,000 as a deposit for his hospital bill in London.

About 40:30 minutes into a video shared on YouTube by Viable TV, Bamidele said “When I got shot in Ekiti State on the 1st of June 2018, Asiwaju was there to work with everyone on ground, I was airlifted from the teaching hospital in Ado-Ekiti to a trauma center in Lagos. He also worked towards airlifting me from Lagos to London. He got me one of the best hospitals in London where I was treated and before my admission to the hospital, Asiwaju had to put a deposit of one hundred thousand pounds right there in the hospital before I was even admitted. And I was flown on his own private jet from Lagos to London, my wife, my friend, and I”.
