Yesterday, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed Datti were live on NTA with Kadaria Ahmed for a town hall meeting which had a couple , audience and with that questions were thrown at them. When asked by Kadaria Ahmed his position regarding the agitation for the state of Biafra?
Peter Obi replied, telling Kadaria Ahmed he would call the person who asked the question a son and when it comes to the issue of agitation, it’s not yes or no, as people agitate everywhere, including his house. Peter Obi went on to say the first thing one does with agitators is to sit down and listen to the person who is agitating, because unless you sit down, one cannot say yes or no.
Using himself as an example, Obi said he’s a Nigerian contesting for the election who believes in the unity of Nigeria and would bring all agitators back to Nigeria and make it work for them as the reason why they are agitating is injustice.
