2023: Tinubu Not Even Worried About Peter Obi's Phenomenon - Fani Kayode

Chief Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) spoke about two presidential Aspirants in his recent interview on BBC News Pidgin. These aspirants are the former governor of Lagos state; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the former governor of Anambra state; Peter Gregory Obi of the Labour Party (LP).

Chief Femi Fani Kayode said, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and I do not take Peter Gregory Obi seriously. We are not even worried about his phenomenon because I keep asking myself where will he get votes from?”

Speaking further, the former aviation minister, who is now among the presidential campaign council (PCC) of Tinubu and Shettima said, “I think the social media youths are interested in Peter Obi but when we get to the polls, we will definitely separate men from boys. I see Peter Obi’s aspirations like fantasies. He will likely do better after this presidential election’s crushing defeat.”

Lastly, FFK was asked to define loyalty and he said, “loyalty is when someone is loyal to his or her convictions and core beliefs. I also see loyalty as something important in a political party even if the decision taken by the party is not entirely pleasing to the member.”
