51 Ghaf Trees To Its Partners, The UAE Marks Its 51 Years In The African Continent

The UAE enjoys strong and fruitful ties with Africa because of its numerous economic agreements that would enhance partnership and cooperation for the benefit of the African people.

In this regard, to celebrate fifty-one years of distinguished and prosperous relations based on the principles of brotherhood, friendship, mutual respect and common interests with the African continent countries, the UAE has gifted 51 Ghaf trees to its partners on the African continent so as to strengthen ties towards a strategic relationships with the African. The Ghaf tree represents an important source of life, unity and brotherhood, which made it important and famous as a symbol of steadfastness, prosperity and development.

The UAE launched an initiative with friendly African countries to mark 51 years of an outstanding Emirati-African relations, within the framework of enhancing strong and booming relationship with the African countries based on cooperation, friendship, mutual respect and mutual interests. In fact, planting these trees represents an investment for the UAE and its partners for a growing and prosper future generations, reflecting the UAE commitment to the African continent; since this gift of life is not only a commitment to support the welfare of the recipient countries, but a commitment to the entire African continent.

This initiative comes within the framework of joint efforts towards protecting natural assets and ensuring their use in the coming years, since planting and preserving that tree in all parts of Africa is a step toward sustainability and environmental responsibility.
