Japanese billionaire, Yusaku Maezawa, has announced that Czech-Nigerian choreographer, Yemi AD and nine other persons will be among the crew members he plans to take on a trip around the moon in 2023.
Maezawa had bought every seat on the maiden lunar voyage by SpaceX in 2018.
The picks were announced by Maezawa on Twitter on Thursday and on a website for what he dubbed the #dearMoon Project
The SpaceX’s first private lunar flight will include DJ Steve Aoki and K-pop star T.O.P of boy band Big Bang, American YouTuber Tim Dodd, Indian television actor Dev Joshi, Rhiannon Adam, Karim IIiya, Brendan Hall. The backup crew are Kaitlyn Farrington and Miyu.
Maezawa made his fortune founding the online fashion retailer Zozo.
