Former minister of culture and tourism and APC spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode was interviewed on Channels Television by Seun Okinbaloye. During this interview, he stated that one of the reasons why Tinubu will not attend Town Hall meetings with other candidates, hosted by Nigerian media is because they are set-up to humiliate him.
According to him, everything ends up being Tinubu’s decision to make and it will definitely depend on which media house can be fair, equitable, just and not a set-up. He made it clear that Tinubu does not shy away from Nigerian media interviews, but he shies away from town hall meetings with other candidates because it’s mostly a set-up to humiliate him.
He said, “It is Tinubu’s decision to accept a one-on-one interview with the Nigerian media and it depends on which one won’t set him up.
“He has only shied away from town hall meetings with other candidates because they are pitied against him to humiliate him”.
