Renowned Nigerian lawyer, Malcolm Omirhobo has sent out a strong message to Simon Ekpa and all those who believe expressing their grievance by sitting at home would solve their problem. According to his tweet, Simon Ekpa who lives in faraway Finland is misleading his people who are living in Nigeria with the so-called sit-at-home protest, which is also known as “Ghost Monday”.
He stressed that Simon Ikpa is not only misleading his people but is also causing more harm than good because it’s inflicting suffering on those residing in the South Eastern part of Nigeria. He further advised Simon Ikpa to return to Nigeria, his home.
He wrote;
“Simon Ekpa, the right to self-determination is a legitimate right but then you cannot fight for it or earn it from far away in Finland. You need to be on the ground. Come home and stop misleading your people here in Nigeria by putting them in harm’s way.”
