Nigerian politician, Dino Melaye, has taken to his social media page to react to the video of a man who claimed that he was given some food items in exchange for his vote in the forthcoming February 25th general election.
In the video, which is currently making rounds on social media, a man revealed that he was approached by some supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on the road.
They asked him to give them his PVC in exchange for a ‘goodie bag’. He gave them his PVC, and in return, they gave him the bag which contains various food items.
There is a picture of the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress alongside his running mate on the bag that was given to the man.
There was also an inscription on it asking people to vote for those candidates.
The man claimed that they collected his Permanent Voters Card (PVC) and returned it to him after they took down the details on the card.
They asked him to make sure he votes for their candidate and gave him the bag. He unpacked the bag, showing the food items in it including rice, beans, noodles, oil, pepper, and seasoning cubes.
